Abstract

This work proposes the analysis of two methods for the synchronous machine parameter estimation by the Finite Element Method. The first method is the Standstill Frequency Response (SSFR) and the second one is the Pseudorandom Binary Sequence (PRBS). A methodology, which is a variation of Standstill Frequency Response, is also proposed. This methodology allows a decrease on the number measurements proposed on the standard. The impact on the parameters precision is also analyzed.
